FTP programs need three pieces of information to make a connection:

Launch your FTP program
In the SITE or SERVER field enter ftpy1.brinkster.com
In the USER ID field enter raysreproftp
In the PASSWORD field enter aa06459y
Cut and paste the file to the FTP window.

Type into the Address box Internet Explorer brower: ftp://ftpy1.brinkster.com
In the USER ID field enter raysreproftp
In the PASSWORD field enter aa06459y
Cut and paste the file to the FTP window.

Older PC Instructions:

Open the MS DOS window: by going to the START window and selecting RUN
In the RUN window, enter cmd and press Enter
Move to the directory that has the files you are uploading
Enter ftp ftpy1.brinkster.com and press Enter
On the line that says User enter raysreproftp and press enter
On the line that says Password: enter aa06459y and press enter
Enter put with the name of the file being uploaded and press Enter.
Example: put ftptest.txt (repeat for each file)
To end FTP type: QUIT
To close the cmd window type: EXIT
